At Crown Lawn Care LLC, we provide professional mowing services tailored to keep your lawn healthy and looking great. We offer scheduled mowing on a weekly or every other week basis, depending on your preference and lawn needs. Thick, healthy, or fertilized turfgrass should typically be mowed at least weekly. A thin or heavily-shaded lawn can often be decently maintained with biweekly mowing. Refer to the "one-third rule" best practice, below.
We mow your lawn according to the frequency you choose (weekly or biweekly), as long as the grass has grown. We will skip a mowing if the grass hasn't grown. This approach ensures your lawn is mowed responsibly, maintaining its health and appearance. Unfortunately, to make sure everybody gets a fair, consistent, and reliable service, it's not feasible to offer further customization to the schedule. If you have a particular request, we'll do our best to accommodate.
As nearly as possible, we adhere to the one-third rule: never remove more than one-third of the grass blade in a single mowing. This practice helps avoid stress on the grass, promoting healthier growth and denser turf. This practice also reduces the amount of unsightly grass clippings. Of course, depending on the current height of the grass and customer preferences, it may be necessary to mow shorter than the ideal height. Our typical mowing height is set to around three inches, as cutting grass too short can lead to a host of problems, including increased weed invasion and a thinner turf.
We frequently sharpen our mower blades to ensure a clean cut. Sharp blades minimize damage to the grass blades, reducing the risk of disease and stress.
With Crown Lawn Care LLC, you don't have to worry about the common pitfalls of DIY mowing. Our professional service ensures your lawn is mowed according to these best practices:
